The vacation bench of Justices Indira Banerjee and JK Maheshwari, however, ordered that that bar on police from interrogating the accused-actor after July 3 was unwarranted and quashed the same.
“We decline to interfere with Kerala HC order. Except that we modify the part on interrogation. we make it clear that the petitioner may be interrogated beyond July 3, 2022, if necessary,” the Court ordered.
The Court was hearing pleas by the State of Kerala and the survivor challenging the Kerala High Court order granting anticipatory bail to the accused-actor.
