Bayer Collaborates With Government’s ‘Atal Innovation Mission’

Through this collaboration, Bayer will support AIM’s flagship program, ‘Atal Tinkering Labs’ in schools around the country, inculcating scientific curiosity, design thinking, and creative problem-solving skills amongst young minds.

Bayer and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), the Government of India’s flagship initiative, announced a first-of-its-kind collaboration to drive innovation and entrepreneurship across healthcare and agriculture. This collaboration will span the promotion of science education, advancing digital solutions, and agri-tech to strengthen supply chains as well as healthcare projects.

Through this collaboration, Bayer will support AIM’s flagship program, ‘Atal Tinkering Labs’ in schools around the country, inculcating scientific curiosity, design thinking, and creative problem-solving skills amongst young minds. Moreover, as a part of the ‘Atal Incubation Centres’ and ‘Atal Community Innovation Centres,’ Bayer will mentor young innovators and start-ups, while also driving digital solutions in the core sectors of agriculture and healthcare by assisting entrepreneurs from the Atal New India Challenge (ANIC) and Applied Research and Innovation In Small Enterprises (ARISE) programs.

Bayer focuses on health and nutrition, inventing products that make life easier. They also produce and sell various kinds of medicines. The primary focus of the company is on innovation, be it socially or the entrepreneurial angle. By leveraging digitalization, Bayer aims to drive scalable, creative technology solutions that enable last-mile reach to benefit people living in remote and rural areas, driving development, and supporting livelihoods.
