Beldara is a global B2B marketplace, that has recently raised $7.4 Million from Hindustan Media Ventures, with $4.2 million coming in the first tranche. The Mumbai-based start-up plans to use the funds for accelerating brand awareness and its new venture “Farm 2 Globe” in agriculture B2B products. The B2B e-commerce platform, provides a credit service facility to its users, in collaboration with fintech companies. In the coming time, Beldara will seek pre-series A funding. Its aim is to be India’s tech giant and expand its platform in the country, as well as globally.
Beldara was founded in 2014 and has a catalog of 30 product categories with a global user base. It is primarily an end-to-end business solution or a B2B platform for wholesalers and manufacturers to buy and sell. The Beldara app is available on the Google Play App as well as Apple Store. Hindustan Media Ventures was first incorporated in 1918 and is recognized by Forbes as one of the best companies valued at under a Billion in Asia-Pacific.
