BurnCal Raises $330,000 In Pre-seed Round Led By Titan Capital.

The funding received shall be utilized to build the core technology, scale up the product and strengthen the founding team

BurnCal, India’s most personalized fitness solution provider, has announced that it has raised $330,000 in its pre-seed round funding. BurnCal was backed by 100X.VC (Class 3) in December 2020. The investors participating in the round are Titan Capital, SenseAI Ventures(Syndicate on Let’s Venture platform), Kushal Bhagia of First Cheque along with Farooq Adam (Co-Founder of Fynd), Hershel Mehta, and Brendan Rogers (Co-Founder, Wag) of 2 AM Ventures, KRS Jamwal (Executive Director of Tata Industries), Aditya Kothari (Co-Founder of Chingari), Anupam Mittal as Part of LV Syndicate(Founder of People Group, i.e., Shaadi.com) and few super angels. The funding received shall be utilized to build the core technology, scale up the product and strengthen the founding team.

BurnCal is founded by Anik Agrawal (Head of Sales & Marketing), Vichar Shroff (Head of Product), Chetan Reddy (Head of Fitness), Kunal Agrawal (Head of Technology) a team of elite fitness coaches and serial entrepreneurs who are alumni of IIT Bombay, BITS Pilani, and the University of Rochester. The unique platform was born out of Covid, as people struggled to find consistency with fitness due to a lack of convenient options. BurnCal’s proprietary computer vision-based technology tracks the posture and counts repetitions in real-time during workouts ensuring their members get complete attention even while working out from home without having a human trainer next to them. The solution provided by BurnCal is designed in such a way that people can work out from anywhere: home, gym & park, etc. Along with nutritional guidance, it provides world-class personal coaching with cutting-edge technology to make fitness a lifestyle for millions of people struggling with fitness.
