Kochi-based e-commercial platform, DiagunCart.com I looking to create 2,000 jobs. The platform began as early as the first wave of the pandemic and plans to clock in a monthly revenue of Rs 10 crore as part of its growth plans. The start-up was established taking into account the unreasonably high prices of Covid-19 products in the Kerala market.
The Platform is promoted by Abhilash Vijayan, Jiji Philip, and Habeeb Rahman. They are looking to establish their own network to deliver products to customers. They lead an open source platform which takes products directly from Delhi and is delivered in 3 days’ time at a reasonable price.The Covid-safety kit and the Onam kit of groceries were two ventures which served the platform well. The low prices also caught the attention of airways like Emirates, Etihad and the like whom they still continue to supply.
The customer base they have garnered over the last year is a testimony to their success. They had a turnover of Rs 10 Crore, with 50,000 people visiting their website and actively making purchases. DiagunCart.com is looking to expand its customer base by increasing the bouquet of products they have to offer. What started as a domestic sourcing platform now also caters to agriculture and industrial products, Individual safety products, disinfectants, beauty care and, sports among others.
