LearnVern is a year-old start-up in the online learning domain, that provides job-oriented, upskilling courses in various vernacular languages. It has recently raised $1 Million from undisclosed international investors.

At present, LearnVern has 5.5 lakh registered students learning from 37 different courses across domains of graphic design, software development, digital marketing, information technology, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering, among others.
The platform is looking at new technology enhancements, including peer-reviews, video conferencing, and forums to deliver an immersive and wholesome experience to students on their site. They are also looking to deploy tools based on Artificial Intelligence, so as to ensure that students get appropriately matched to an employer’s job requirements after their course is completed. Learnvern presently works with more than 500 medium and large employers to enable direct recruitment of their students. With EdTech upcoming as a lucrative and indispensable sector during the pandemic, several small and large companies are experiencing a boom in their investment.
