Exotel Eyes Accelerated Growth With An Infusion Of 45 Crores

They are at a USD 25 Million run rate and are looking to expand in BFSI, FMCG, and auto industry along with hiring over 200 people in product, engineering, and customer roles.

Communications platform Exotel announced a fresh infusion of 45 crores from Blume Ventures, A91 Partners, and a panel of marquee angel investors. Some of them include Binny Bansal, Co-founder of Flipkart, Rohan Angrish head, ICICI Labs engineering, and Vikas Choudhury, President, Reliance Jio), to name a few. Additionally, former Facebook and Snapdeal product leader, Anand Chandrasekaran, will be joining Exotel as mentor and advisor.

Exotel is a decade-old company, set to celebrate its anniversary in 2021. With the fresh round of funding, Exotel eyes accelerated growth. They are at a USD 25 Million run rate and are looking to expand in BFSI, FMCG, and auto industry along with hiring over 200 people in product, engineering, and customer roles.

Just over a few months ago, Exotel has collaborated with 150 helplines and non-profits that were providing on-ground support to those affected during the pandemic. It currently also powers customer communication for over 4000 organizations, while powering 10 million conversations each day.
