Jambox Games lands $1.1 million funding led by Ludus Venture Studio

Jambox Games, a Singapore-based competitive game publishing platform for indie developers, has drawn in $1.1 Million seed-funding led by Ludus Venture Studio with participation from other angel investors.

Started by Vikas Gulati, the former AdColony APAC managing director, Jambox Games aims to help casual and hyper-casual game developers in India and Southeast Asia monetize their mobile games across the world to compete with global players. Asia has a lot of talent and potential to develop social and multi-player games, which presently has a huge gap that can be fulfilled. 

Jambox Games provides developers with an extensive toolset, to help them with creative capabilities, user acquisition, analytics, attribution, and monetization including performance marketing expertise. This is a convenient platform against dealing with 15 to 20 providers. The firm will build a bouquet of custom-made, competitive formats that will help developers convert their games to revenue-generating games and retention rates for these game genres.

Jambox Games plans to launch its platform initially in India, Indonesia, and Vietnam, and later in other Southeast Asian countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The company plans to use the funds raised for hiring tech talent and building its platform and. They currently have eight employees and plan to double the team in the next few months. Jambox Games aims to launch around 15 gaming titles this year through the platform and reach more than 1.5 million Daily Active Users (DAUs) within the first year of its operation.
