Newton School introduces Master’s program in association with MIA

The Bengaluru-based ed-tech startup, Newton School, which is known for producing quality entry-level tech talent through its industry-oriented courses, has introduced a Master’s program in Computer Science Engineering in association with the reputed MIA – Digital University, Spain. MIA – Digital University is an international university specializing in Master’s and certificate programs based on the use of innovative, educational and cutting-edge technological tools. 

The EHEA accredited year-long course that begins in August would be available for working professionals holding bachelor’s degrees in any field.  The course will have a strong international component to provide a global view of business, of the main emerging economic sectors, and of the digital technologies and systems. The course will also entail real-world, project-based learning, interaction with the international community of students and professionals, and a flexible learning environment. 

India has a huge tech talent and people want to upskill in order to land better career opportunities. According to a survey, 84 percent of employees stated that the upskilling initiatives have helped them get better jobs or positions. With this collaboration, Newton School and MIA- Digital University aims to upskill this pool of talented professionals in India. This course neatly intertwines MIA’s vision to train people with high-level professional skills to allow them to become future leaders, entrepreneurs, and managers with Newton School’s aim to impart industry-engineered courses and produce industry-ready software developers.
