RoundGlass, a personal wellbeing platform, has acquired Gympik Health Solutions, a fitness discovery platform, for an undisclosed amount. With this acquisition, RoundGlass is looking to increase the suite of products it offers to its customers. The platform will gain access to Gympik’s platform ‘Traqade’, a gym and club management software platform, which is already used by thousands across the country. This will be in addition to RoundGlass’s fitness management solutions named ‘Club’. The integration will bring about a hybrid of fitness and personal well-being on a digital platform. This works well in an era when people are looking for end-to-end wellness services.
Presently, Gympik has 20,000 fitness centers across India. The start-up has half a million monthly visitors and has over 7,000 nutritionists and personal trainers across 40 cities in the country. US-based RoundGlass invested for the first time in Gympik back in 2016 through RoundGlass Partners, which is its investment arm. RoundGlass also offers its wellness programmes for corporates through its ‘Reach’ platform.
