Wilson Kello Joins Hempstreet Advisory Board

HempStreet, India’s first and largest research to retail venture in the medicinal cannabis space, today announced that Wilson Kello, an internationally acclaimed creative polymath, has joined their advisory board. In a short span of time HempStreet has emerged as the largest research to retail medical cannabis company in India. The company is working closely with leading scientists to advance cannabis-based medicinal remedies to mass ailments that currently affect over 300 million people in India. With fully integrated activities from top-notch R&D all the way to retail activities with 16 approved products, and a network of over 43,000 medical practitioners and clinics across the country this Made in India brand for the World is setting new benchmarks for the medicinal cannabis industry.

With a career of over two decades, Kello has successfully launched a range of durable goods and CPGs. In his past role at Collective Growth Corporation, which was an SPAC founded by legal cannabis pioneers Bruce Linton and Geoff Whaling, he was responsible for marketing, business development and content creation. Previously, he advised the top management at Canopy Growth Corporation on brand direction.

A graduate in English literature and art History from Swarthmore College, Wilson believes in creating powerful narratives through learned experiences and other story-telling techniques that resonate with consumers and businesses. HempStreet continues to grow steadily in one of world’s fastest growing medicinal cannabis space. Most recently, the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) has issued a Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) to HempStreet to work on medicinal cannabis solution which is the first such instance in India. The company aims to successfully put India on the global medical cannabis stage, as an innovator.
