My Dadu Bought Me My First Camera 11 Years Ago When I Started Blogging: Masoom Minawala

Massom Minawala needs no introduction as she has been making herself and the nation proud every single day with her global content. She has walked the Paris Fashion Week as well as the Cannes Film Festival. She’s a multitalented creator who is a fashion influencer, entrepreneur and investor. Did you know that grade 12 was the turning point in her life, she started developing an interest in fashion and styling! Currently, she has a successful e-commerce business as well as a 1M+ following on Instagram.

She’s here to Empower us all!

In her recent interview while shooting for the Dabboo Ratnani Creator Calendar 2022 curated by MissMalini we got a chance to know her better. And here is what she has to say.

Growing up you were never into fashion so what inspired you to venture into this space?

I think it was content creation that actually inspired me before fashion did. I love the idea of being able to share an opinion, have a perspective, have a view, and be able to share that with anyone in the entire world. They could be sitting at home or literally anywhere, at a beach or in their bed and they could be watching my content, interacting, and engaging with me. That concept was like ‘Oh my god’, this is like ground-breaking.

How did you feel when you walked the red carpet at ‘The Cannes Film Festival‘, making India proud?

It was super nerve-wracking. It was amazing and incredible for so many reasons. First, to sort to be a creator and walk the red carpet is a breakthrough for our industry and to be walking alongside other creators. It really shows where the creator industry is going and moving. It’s so inspiring, it shows you that you’re in an industry that you’ve almost seen since day zero, that you’ve been a part of building and look at where it is. It’s on a global scale. Honestly, it was humbling to be able to represent your country especially when they’re such few of us out there.

She also played ‘Never have I ever’ with us. So, watch the video right below to know the answers to our quirky questions.
