Varun Dhawan‘s recently announced film Bawaal has been quite intriguing for me since its inception. Firstly, it’s the reunion of the highly successful and National Award-winning pair of Sajid Nadiadwala and Nitesh Tiwari. Add Varun to this team, and it is already a hit on paper. What increased my excitement is the first time pairing of Varun with Janhvi Kapoor. And if all this wasn’t enough, the makers have released Varun’s first look from the film and it has just sent me into a frenzy.

Seeing Varun in this ripped avatar, looking dashing while parked on a bike as he was clicked on the streets of Lucknow where the film is currently being shot, has just made me swoon over him some more. Varun is indeed pulling the look off quite effortlessly and brilliantly and I must say the mix of cool and brooding vibes that he is giving in these pictures have taken my excitement level up a notch.
While the film is currently on the floors in Lucknow, overall it will be shot across three Indian locations and five European countries, including the city of love, Paris. The film is a love story in itself and to see this fresh pair of Varun-Janhvi romance in the city of love itself will surely be a treat to the eyes.
Bawaal went on floors earlier this month and is eyeing a theatrical release of April 7, 2023. Knowing the caliber of Nitesh, including the filmography he has to his name, and the choices that Varun is making currently in his projects, I am completely certain that I am in for something really special. The film is indeed turning out to be one of the most awaited releases of the next year and I am sure this duo will just exceed my expectations.
