Arisi Paruppu Sadam Recipe
This is a healthy main dish for lunch. It has dal, rice and spinach in them and taste really delicious with some pickle and papad. I love it hot with a drizzle of ghee over it. YUM.

How to Make Arisi Paruppu Sadham
- Wash and soak rice and dal for 30 mins.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add mustard, cumin, dry red chilli, asafoetida and curry leaves.
- in goes onions, garlic and saute for 2 mins.
- Add in tomatoes and mix well,
- salt and turmeric and mix well.
- Add spinach and mix well.
- Add drained rice and dal, along with water.
- Bring it to a boil and cook for 3 whistle and simmer and cook for 5 mins. Turn off the heat and let the steam go by itself.
- Add coriander leaves and ghee and mix well.
- Serve.
