Tomato Kurma Recipe
Tomatoes are in season right now, it is very very cheap here. So i decided to use it and make so many recipes as possible. I made jams, juices and pickles. I also made some gravy dishes too. This is a simple kurma made using tomatoes and it is super easy to make and taste delicious with idiyappam, appam or any tiffin items.

Tomato Kurma Preparation
- Take all grinding ingredients in a blender and puree till smooth. Set aside.
- Now heat oil in a pan, add mustard and urad dal. Add curry leaves and let them sizzle.
- Add in onions and green chillies. some salt and turmeric and mix well. Cook till it gets soft.
- Add in tomatoes and cook till it gets mushy.
- Add in sugar and spice powders and mix well.
- Pour water and bring it to a boil.
- Add the ground masala and simmer for few mins.
- Serve.
