2nd Virtual National Moot Court Competition is being organized by the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR.

About CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR was born out of the educational vision of St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationalist and social reformer of the nineteenth century in South India. The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India conferred Autonomy to Christ College in 2004 and identified it as an Institution with Potential for Excellence in 2006.

In 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India, declared the institution Deemed to be University, in the name and style of Christ University. One of the first institutions in India to be accredited in 1998 by the NAAC, and subsequently in 2004 and 2016, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR has the top grade ‘A’ in the 4-point scale.

Details of the Event

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Delhi-NCR hosted its first National Moot Court Competition virtually in March 2021. In the very first edition, they are proud to share that they saw handsome participation by seventeen teams, all of which were students belonging to premier institutions from all over India. This year, taking the tradition forward, they will be hosting the 2nd National Moot Court Competition, 2022 from 4th to 6th March 2022.

MCS wholeheartedly welcomes law students from all around the country for the upcoming 2nd National Moot Court Competition, 2022 organised by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi-NCR.


Any team of students who are pursuing B.A.LL.B/ BBA. LL.B/ LL.B./LL.M. or any equivalent law degree course in any institution recognized by the Bar Council of India shall be eligible to participate in the competition.

Please note that one University/College will be permitted to send only one team to represent them.

  • Registration fees with accommodation: Rs. 4500/-
  • Registration fees without accommodation: Rs. 3000/-

If the University plans to shift the moot court competition to a virtual mode due to the ongoing pandemic, the same shall be informed to all the participants, and in that case, Rs. 1500 will be refunded to those who have paid Rs. 4500

  • Runners-up: Rs. 18,000/-
  • Best Speaker: Rs. 5000/-
  • Best Researcher: Rs. 5000/-
  • Best Memorial: Rs. 5000/-
