Rijiju in his speech also said that courts in India would soon go paperless and he has asked Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud to ensure that the same is done.

“For e-courts, I have requested the CJI to complete the task in his tenure. Very soon the Indian judiciary will go paperless,” the Law Minister stated.

He also highlighted the relatively high population of lawyers in the national capital.

“Delhi perhaps has one of the highest number of lawyers. When I went to Tis Hazari court, it felt like a rally. I am sure with the help of Centre and State government, we can solve at least half of the problems.”
