Call for Papers on “Indian Family System: Contemporary Issues” by NLU Delhi: Submit by Jan 30, 2023

About the Call for Papers

The family system has always been the backbone of Indian society since time immemorial. With the advent of economic liberalisation and globalization,

Indians have witnessed several changes in the family setup. Keeping in view this shift, the Centre for Comparative Studies in Personal Laws is planning to come up with a publication on contemporary issues emerging in the Indian Family System and reflecting on the core concerns and ethical issues that prevent in modern Indian society.

Eligibility

Research-based papers/articles are invited from academicians, practitioners and scholars from the field of law and related areas.

  • Child Marriage

  • Live-in Relationship: Pros and Cons

  • Succession and Inheritance
  • Property Rights with specific reference to Daughters, Married and Divorced Women
  • Adoption & Parenthood
  • Guardianship & Custody
  • Maintenance Rights of Children, Wife & Elderly People

Submission Guidelines

  • The papers must be genuinely ORIGINAL. In case, any other author is quoted, the citation is a must.
  • Papers need to be restricted to a maximum of 6000 words excluding footnote counts. A 4 size, 12 pt size, MS Word, Times New Roman font 1.5 line space.
  • Authors need to submit their papers in the following manner:
    • Title of the paper
    • Author/Authors name, designation, institution
    • Abstract (Not more than 200 words)
    • Keywords
    • Introduction.
    • Body of the paper
    • Conclusion
    • References/Bibliography

Formatting Guidelines

  • Candidates are requested to view the guidelines presented here.
  • The Editorial team recommends the use of APA Style Manual 6th Edition for citing references with not more than 6000 words.
  • Headings Guidelines
    • 1. LEVEL 1 HEADING: All Capital & Bold
    • 1.1 LEVEL 2 SUB-HEADING: First Letter Capital & BOLD
    • 1.1.1 Level 3 Sub-Sub-Heading: First Letter CAPITAL & BOLD & ITALIC
    • 1.1.1.1 Level 4 Sub-Sub-Sub-Heading: Normal
  • Citation: APA Style Manual 6th Edition for citing references for intext and References
