CfP: 3rd 1-Day National Conference (Online) on ‘Women and the Law’ by RNB Global University [March 4]: Submit by Feb 28

The School of Law of the RNB Global University, Bikaner (Rajasthan) is organizing the 3rd One Day National Conference (Online) on “Women and the Law’’ to be held on March 4, 2022.

About the Organizing University

RNB Global University, Bikaner is established vide Act No. 20 of 2015 in the State of Rajasthan. The University is spread on a vast well-developed campus and offers courses in various disciplines having all modern facilities.

The School of Law of RNB Global University started in 2016 and has Five Years Law Degree Course of B.A. LL.B., B.B.A., LL.B., One Year of LL.M. Course and Ph.D. program.

About the Conference

We strive to provide a platform to the Law Students, on-roll in any Law Institute/ College/University/Faculty/Department situated within the State of Rajasthan & all over India for imbibing in them the pragmatic skills of law. This National Conference is one such attempt of creating a simulated atmosphere for future lawyers and judicial officers. The objective, in fact, is to allow the Law Scholars to delve into cutting-edge research, presenting groundbreaking arguments and contributing to the development of jurisprudence in concerned areas of law. It is a chance for good contributions on the subject to be published in a book form.

Call for Papers

Research Papers / Articles are invited from Academician, Research Scholars, and professionals for presentation at the conference on the Theme / Sub Theme.

The sub-themes of the Conference are –

In the first session – Law relating to Crimes against Women

  1. Cybercrimes against Women
  2. Domestic Violence against Women
  3. Implementation of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961
  4. Killing of female foetus in womb
  5. Increasing sex crimes against women
  6. Harassment of women at public places
  7. Harassment of women at Workplaces
  8. Crimes against Women during Pandemic

 In the second session – Law relating to Welfare of the Women

  1. Welfare of Women in Labour Laws
  2. Legalising abortions in India
  3. Increasing role of Women in Corporate Governance
  4. Right of maintenance to women in India
  5. Status of Hindu Women coparceners since 2005
  6. Increase in age for marriage
  7. Welfare of women under the Constitution of India
  8. Rights of women prisoners

Submission Guidelines

  1. Author Name, University/Organization, Paper Title, Email Address and Mobile Number to be clearly stated on the cover page of the paper.
  2. It must be typed in MS Word Format (Font: Times New Roman, Font Size: 12 for text and 1.0 line spacing for footnotes).
  3. Word limit for Abstract: 300-350 words
  4. Word Limit for Full Paper: 5000-8000 words (including footnotes)
  5. The margins are to be 1″, text is to be justified and OSCOLA format of citation is to be used.
  6. Plagiarism beyond 20% will lead to dis-qualification on.
  7. Presentation can be done using Power point Presentation.
  8. The soft copy of the abstract and full paper and the Power Point Presentation are to be mailed to: swati.agrawal@rnbglobal.edu.in
  9. Research paper selected for presentation shall be published in edited publication.
  10. Copyright shall vest in the RNB Global University.
  11. Certificates: Certificate of Participation and/or Paper Presentation will be given.
  12. E-certificates will be provided to all participants, who will attend the conference online.

There is no fee for participation, presentation, and publication (if fit) of Papers at the National Conference. 

Important Deadlines

The last date to send the Abstract of the paper is February 28th, 2022 and reaching the article by e-mail is March 2nd, 2022.
