Cfp: Seminar on “An Evaluation of the use of Assisted Reproductive Technology in Lucknow” by University of Lucknow [7 Jan 2023]: Submit by Dec 30

The University of Lucknow is organizing a one-day National seminar on “An Evaluation of the use of Assisted Reproductive Technology in Lucknow” under the aegis of Research and Development Scheme (2022-2023) Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow was established in 1921. About the Seminar

Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) is developed as an advanced medical science to assist conception and pregnancy. It is used as a guarantee for the cure of infertility everywhere in the whole world. With all its merits, the use of Assisted Reproductive

Technology is always subject to public debate for its ethical and legal issues. Therefore it is required to explore, discuss, the research asked, suggest, reform, analyze, and criticize the area of application, relevance, scope, and limitations of ART.

Objectives of the Seminar

  • To provide a fundamental and specific understanding of Assisted Reproductive Technology
  • To explore the relevance and scope of Assisted Reproductive Technologies from National and International perspectives.
  • To examine the accessibility, availability and approachability of the Assisted Reproductive Technology
  • To examine Assisted Reproductive Technology in a social context.
  • To discuss the ethical and legal issues involved in Assisted Reproductive Technologies
  • To examine the legal conflicts and concerns regarding Assisted Reproductive Technologies and analyse the Assisted Reproductive Technology Act 2021

Submission Guidelines

  • All Submissions have to be in English.
  • The abstract should not be more than 300 words. It shall contain- a brief profile of the author including the Theme of the Paper and the Title of the Paper, e-mail ID, contact number and official address.
  • Word limit for full Research Paper- 5000-8000 words (inclusive of all citations and references).
  • There shall be a Zero tolerance policy on Plagiarism and Copyright. Similarity up to 10% is permissible. The authors should also submit a declaration along with the abstract & final paper that their work is original and unpublished and does not infringe the copyright of anyone. The organizing committee is not responsible for any copyright infringements by the authors.
  • Submissions must be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 on A4 size paper with 1” margin on all sides with 1.5 line spacing.
  • There can be a maximum of only one Co-author.
  • Potential contributors are required to adhere to a uniform mode of citation(OSCOLA/BLUE BOOK)

Awards and Publications

Papers will be published in the Seminar Proceedings. The number of Participants is limited to 50 (fifty). The first 50 papers will be accepted.
