About the Conference
Research Cell, Delhi Metropolitan Education, Noida is organizing a two-day International Conference on Transgender Identity and Rights in South Asia aimed at understanding the awareness around trans movement beyond the urban landscape which is utterly blind to the ripples that exist in small towns, suburbs, and rural areas and to learn and engage with the Trans movement in the places and through places and people away from the political spotlight.
The Conference shall take place from 11th to 12th March 2022. Through this Conference, we aim to extend beyond an academic exercise as the written submissions are not restricted to research papers only. Any form of literary work- poems, stories, articles, and opinion pieces is welcome. The Conference is divided into four sessions.
