The application procedure is very simple. One has to send his/her CV at the mail address given on the main site of the firm and their response is very quick (you can expect the response within a week) and there is a need for a follow-up on the phone (which has also been mentioned on their website)

First Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression

There are no such first-day formalities. On day 1, I met with Mr Vivek Aggarwal Founding Partner. He asked me to go and work with Ms Surbhi Gulati’s team. She was the associate under whom I worked; she was very friendly.

She is one friendly associate who introduced me to the staff and the partners of the firm & assigned me work. I was given a separate PC to do my work with the intern chamber.

The office is not very big but it is a decent office with three chambers, one meeting hall, a conference room and a common chamber where the interns work with the associates.

Main Tasks

The firm specializes in both corporate as well as Litigation. IP work, so the work mainly assigned to you is research on various legal issues, drafting, synopsis finding of the case laws, researching of new corporate regulations and rules, etc.

Apart from that, you will get the opportunity to visit various courts and tribunals on daily basis, and client counselling but I can assure you, that they will ensure that you won’t sit idle.

Work Environment

The work environment is normal. Though they take their work very seriously, all work and no play is not their policy.

The associates and the partners are very friendly. They will treat you as if you are one of the associates of the firm.

So, you can approach them any time with any difficulty and they will always be ready to help you out even with your silliest queries.

Good things

The best thing about this firm is that every person in the firm treats you very nicely.

I have heard many stories from my friends about their associates and senior partners grilling them during their internship, which thankfully I haven’t experienced here.

As stated above, they would never overburden you with work however they emphasize the quality of the work.

Bad things

As it was my physical internship so I regularly visited the court, with Associates. In Delhi the condition of traffic is bad so need to be ready on time to arrive at court on time considering the traffic.

Accommodation & Conveyance to Office

There are a number of PGs available. Also, the Rohini East metro station is nearby, so people staying in far places need not worry.

Stipend

They did not mention any kind of stipend.

Anything else

To be very frank, I was sceptical about how the internship will be at this firm because it is a new firm. But after completing my internship, I can seriously say that I was proved wrong.

Though it’s a small firm, it’s only at such firms that you can gain true knowledge. It was one of my most productive internships and I would recommend this firm to those who are willing to learn.

Biggest lessons

The biggest lesson I learned here is that no work is small or big, it’s your willingness and your persistent nature that will be assessed.

They won’t judge you upon your CGPA but the quality of your work (repeating – honesty and sincerity).
