Single-judge Justice Prathiba M Singh said that with advancement in technology, a lot of things can be detected at the foetal stage and with even more advancements perhaps people would be able to do genetic tests or even IQ tests.
Therefore, can the parents say that they will not have such children at all, the court asked.
“I am not taking a view either way. I am only saying are we only looking at a society which will only have perfect children.”
