Quality Council of India is setting up of Project Management Unit at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Nagpur and is conducting walk in interviews for various legal positions.

Quality Council of India (QCI) was established as a National body for Accreditation on recommendations of Expert Mission of EU after consultations in Inter-ministerial Task Force, Committee of Secretaries and Group of Ministers through a Cabinet decision in 1996. 

About the Job Opportunity

Quality Council of India is in the process of setting up of Project Management Unit at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Nagpur. For setting up of Project Management we are in need of Law Graduates possessing 1 year to 3-year experience for different positions with candidates having valid Bar Council of India / State Bar Council of India registration.

Duration

These positions are contractual positions for a period of 6 months extendable for another 6 months based on the performance of the candidates.

Associate Manager

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Law from recognized University
  • Desired Qualifications: Ph.d in Intellectual Property from recognized university.
  • Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years
  • Salary (Per Month -Consolidated): INR 70,000
  • Experience:
    • Three years’ experience of law practice post registration with BAR Council of India/ State Bar Council of India or Three years’ experience in state Judicial services or Legal Department of a State Government or Central Government or in teaching Law in a recognized university
    • Experience in the processing of applications for registration under the Trade Marks Act will be given preference.
  • Job Description: To hear the contested matter (pending under opposition proceeding) related to Trade Mark application and dispose the opposition by passing reasoned decision/order or any other work incidental thereto as per provision of the law.

Analyst -I

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Law from recognized University
  • Desired Qualifications: Master Degree in Intellectual property from a recognized University
  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 years
  • Salary (Per Month -Consolidated): INR 50,000
  • Experience: Must be registered with BAR Council of India/State Bar Council of India and having two years’ experience in handling Court cases and other legal matters or matters relating to trade-marks or Geographical Indication.
  • Job Description: To hear and dispose the show-cause application matters by passing reasoned decision/order or any other work incidental thereto as per provision of the law.

Analyst-II

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Law from recognized University
  • Desired Qualifications: Master Degree in Intellectual property from a recognized University
  • Maximum Age Limit: 30 years
  • Salary (Per Month -Consolidated): INR 40,000
  • Experience: Must be registered with BAR Council of India/ State Bar Council of India and having one year experience as an Advocate.
  • Job Description: To examine any application filed for registration of a Trade Mark/ Geographical Indication (GI) or any application in connection to a Trade Mark/ Geographical Indication (GI) under the provision of the law.

Analyst-III

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Law from recognized University
  • Desired Qualifications: Master Degree in Intellectual property from a recognized University
  • Maximum Age Limit: INR 40,000
  • Salary (Per Month -Consolidated):
  • Experience: Must be registered with BAR Council of India/ State Bar Council of India and having one year experience as an Advocate.
  • Job Description: To examine any application filed for registration of a work under the provisions of Copyright Act, 1957.
