Roles & Responsibilities
- Understanding of basic commercial/ deal terms
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents (such as SPA, SSA, SHA, and Term sheets) including NDAs
- Undertaking due diligence exercises on targets
- Keeping abreast of legal developments in core areas – fantasy sports, gaming, sports streaming, content, e-commerce, Web3, fintech, etc.
- Resolving cross-border transactional issues in line with compliances under FEMA, RBI guidelines, and other exchange control laws
- Managing multiple work streams including coordinating with external company counsel other company consultants and internal stakeholders
- Identifying regulatory risks in transactions proposed to be undertaken by Dream Capital
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum of 5 years PQE in M&A, VC/PE with a top-tier law firm or a VC Fund
- Prior experience in deal-making/ transactions and related legislations such as the Companies Act, FDI, ODI, commercial contracts, etc.
