The University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh is organising Justice A.S. Anand National Triathlon Competition which will be held in offline mode from April 14 to 15, 2023.

It is a distinct microcosmic institution epitomising composite multi-dimensional and multi-national amalgamation of students and faculty members.
About the Competition
“In life you may not get what you deserve, but will definitely get what you negotiate.” To impart negotiation skills among budding lawyers, ADR & CCL Board, UILS is coming up with its First Edition of Justice A.S. Anand National Triathlon to promote the spirit of dispute resolution in its various forms.
This Triathlon endeavours to hone the skills of each participant through the various stages of dispute resolution which begins with Client Counselling followed by attempts of Negotiations between parties and then finally heading towards a Mediation Session.
UIL is looking forward to seeing participants across the country sporting their Freud apparel and Holmes Hat and join us in this event of learning and fun through negotiation. The organizing committee and our volunteers will be making your experience all the more enriching.
Registration Information
1. For the registration form, click on the link at the end of this post.
2. The Teams will be selected on ‘First Come First Served’ basis (Priority shall be determined on the basis of e-mail confirmation and receipt of duly filled Registration Forms which must reach the organizers before the due date, which is mentioned in the Rules of the Competition).
3. There is a participation limit of 24 teams for this competition. Once the cap of 24 teams is filled, the registrations for the competition shall be closed.
4. Participants must fill the registration form using the registration link provided. After filling the necessary details in the form, the participants will be sent an e-mail on their registered e-mail IDs with a payment link to finish the process of their registration.

Eligibility Criteria
The participants should be enrolled in a full-time law degree on September 1, 2023 of the year of the Competition at the university which has been selected to participate in the Competition.
Team Composition
1. One Team shall consist of five participants who shall be performing in Client Counselling, Negotiation and Mediation.
2. The team members are free to choose which of the members will perform in each of these events.
3. The registration fee for each participant is INR 3,500/-.
Award Structure
The Triathlon has a cash prize of worth INR1.5 Lakhs which will be divided amongst the following awards:
- Winners (Best Team): The winning team will be decided on the basis of the total scores of all the three stages, including all the seven rounds.
