When the matter was taken up for hearing by Justice Singh, she noted that she had appeared for one of the respondents in an earlier case, and therefore, could not hear the the present plea.
Senior Advocate Dayan Krishnan, appearing for Nair, said that he had no issues with her proceeding with the matter, but Justice Singh transferred the case to another bench.
It will now be taken up on February 20.
