The Bench which has a heavy roster which includes criminal writ petitions, parole and furlough applications, had listed over 200 matters for hearing on Thursday.
The normal working hours of the High Court is from 10.30 AM to 4.30 pm. Since, the board could not be completed, the bench chose to sit beyond the working hours.
