Bhasi had allegedly used filthy language while speaking to a female interviewer from the organisation ‘Behind Woods’.
A first information report (FIR) was then registered against him alleging commission of offences under Section 354A(i)(iv) (making sexually colored remarks), 294(b) (obscene words in or near any public place) and 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.
In his plea, Bhasi contended that the matter has been settled out of court between him and the female interviewer concerned, and that she has sworn in an affidavit that she has no further complaint against him.
