On January 17, Court had reverted to complete online hearing, except in cases where the judge deemed it necessary to hear the cases physically.
The decision was taken in light of the surge in cases of the Omicron strain of COVID-19;
When the decision was revisited on February 16, the Court decided to continue with the system for one more month or until the test positivity rate (TRP) in the State reaches 10%, whichever is earlier.
At the time, the TPR was around 16%, but it has dropped below 10℅ as of today.
