“Lord Buddha himself will not endorse this”: Madras High Court rejects plea to declare Buddha Purnima as government holiday

A bench of acting Chief Justice T Raja and Justice D Bharatha Chakravarthy remarked in lighter vein that even Lord Buddha may not be agreeable to such a proposition.

“Lord Buddha himself may not endorse this plea. Dismissed,” the Court said rejecting the petition.
