Chief Justice RV Malimath launched ‘Boond’, an initiative for the upliftment of the underprivileged in Madhya Pradesh.
He said that all sitting judges of the High Court have unanimously resolved to contribute ₹5,000 each on a monthly basis for the same.
“Currently, we have a strength of 33 judges. This means, we would collect at least Rs.1,65,000/- per month and Rs.19,80,000 per annum. Not just collect, but every single paisa of this will go to the poorest of the poor across Madhya Pradesh,” he said.
