Madras High Court Bar members urge Chief Justice to help resolve e-filing difficulties

The representation, signed by Madras High Court Advocates Association (MHAA) president G Mohanakrishnan, Madras Bar Association president M Baskar, Law Association president P Selvaraj, and the Women Lawyers Association president Louisal Ramesh, was handed over to Chief Justice Gangapurwala on Tuesday, April 9.

In the letter, the members of the Bar have raised issues such as the maximum file size limit of 20MB being insufficient, the insistence on converting PDF documents to OCR, the mandatory requirement of having to submit hard copies of documents after having filed them electronically, and the time-consuming process of scanning case bundles.
