The course on Climate Change Mitigation under International Law is scheduled to commence from March 15, 2022, in an online mode.
Course Structure
- To equip students with the conceptual knowledge of the contemporary developments in the domain of the law pertaining to climate change.
- To establish how law can prove to be an effective tool in mitigating the effects of climate change
- To develop a holistic understanding of the socio-economic issues connected with climate change.
- To develop an understanding of the special circumstances of the third world within the environ-legal framework.
- To develop an understanding of how clean energy sources can aid in attaining the goals set in normative frameworks pertaining to climate change.

Unit 4
Climate Change Induced Migration
- International Refugee Law and Climate Change: Analyzing the normative framework
