The Ministry of Corporate Affairs stated that as per information provided by the NCLT, as on June 30, 2024, a total of 19,770 of cases are pending. Of these, 9,645 have been pending for less than a year while 10,125 have been pending for more than a year.
As per information provided by NCLAT for the same period, a total of 3,019 of cases pending. Of these, 1,654 have been pending for less than a year while 1,365 have been pending for more than a year.
Of the 1,365 cases pending for more than a year in NCLAT, 783 have been pending for more than two years and 456 have been pending for more than three years.
