Justice Ramana was speaking at a function organised by the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) to bid him farewell on his superannuation.
CJI Ramana had served as Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court from September 2013 to February 2014 before he was elevated as a judge of the Supreme Court.
The CJI said that at present, there are six judges at the Supreme Court who have served at the Delhi High Court. That number will decrease to five with his impending retirement.
“I hope some more judges will join soon,” he added.
