Justice Kaul had on several occasions orally berated counsel for not filing short three-page synopses despite instructions to this effect in the causelists of his court.
On Wednesday, he told a counsel who had not filed a synopsis,
“Nothing doing. Did you not read the causelist? Now there will be summary (dismissal) proceedings. I am also sorry, but such casual attitude.“
On September 5, he had remarked to another advocate,
“You know there is a process right? How can you expect us to go through your memo like this?“
