Structure of Uttarkhand Judicial Services Examination
The Uttarakhand Judicial Examination consists of 200 questions & each question is worth 1 mark. For every incorrect answer, there is a deduction of 0.25.

Difficulty Level of Uttarakhand Judicial Examination 2021
The exam questions were direct, section-centric. However, in the G.K part, some questions were unexpected.
The General Knowledge portion of the Uttarakhand Judicial Examination had a balanced mix of questions from International Law, Constitution, Acts passed & of course recent landmark judgments.
Anyone who prepared each areas of General Knowledge well might have found this portion simple and scoring.

For Law subjects, we can see that the pattern has slightly changed in respect to the division of questions.
In the previous years of Uttarakhand Judicial Examination, questions from all seven subjects were coming in equal proportion.
However, this year, a large number of questions were based on the Indian Penal Code and Family laws followed by Cr.P.C, Evidence, and CPC.
Some topics under the Indian Penal Code were repeated this year as well.
Topics such as theft, punishment for rape, section 303, grievous hurt, and punishments prescribed under the Indian Penal Code were some of the common themes from 2018 and 2019.
That is why analyzing the previous years’ question papers is necessary. It gives aspirants an idea regarding what is crucial and what is not.

General Knowledge
International Law covered a large chunk of questions. The United Nations Charter, specialized agencies of the United Nations, Human Rights Commission, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and International Court of Justices were some areas from which questions were asked.
Apart from that, General Knowledge questions were related to the first law minister, the first attorney general of India, first woman judge of Supreme Court, etc. Few questions were specifically from recently passed Acts and judgments.
Aspirants must keep track of such events as they are essential for clearing any judicial examination in India, especially Uttarakhand Judicial Examination.
For Constitutional Law, the Appointment Process of High Court Judges, Directive Principles of State Policy, constitutional history, and Schedules were asked.
