How did you apply for the internship?

I applied for the internship by mailing them at info@kcapl.com along with my CV and showing interest in the opportunity.

An interview was conducted by one of the advocates at the firm through a phone call.

First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression

I was asked to go through the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, since my senior was majorly involved in cases related to it.

No other formalities since it was an online internship.

Main Tasks

Drafted various replies related to Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.

Prepared Case Comments on landmark Supreme Court judgements in purview of the Real Estate act.

Compiled orders of various states’ real estate regulatory authority(s).

Work Environment

The guidance provided by my senior proved to be really helpful in solving the slightest of the problems.

Good Things

I was introduced to real estate law for the first time, and learnt most aspects of it.

My senior was very accommodating and understanding.

Bad Things

I missed the courtroom experience since the internship was in a virtual mode, and I wasn’t able to meet any other people from the firm.
