Process of Application

I was looking for a summer internship and found the opportunity at the Airport Authority of India. I have mailed my Updated CV, Cover letter and they also ask for NOC (No objection Certificate) from the university. I have sent all these details on email- gmlawchq@aai.aero and gmhrtrg@aai.aero  within a month I received an Internship order letter from the authority where all the rules and regulation was listed down.

First Day Formalities & Impression

Even the interaction was not possible with other interns she gave the group task so that we could coordinate with other interns as well. There was not only one supervisor but different tasks were allotted by different mentors. Ms. Minali would deal as coordinator even the task is given by different mentors she responds to that query as well.

Main Tasks

As the internship was virtual there was no stress of accommodation, staying up at the office, wearing formal dresses, and timing issues. From the very first day of the internship I received a call from Ms.Minali (Manager of Law at AAI) she explained things very clearly and responded to all the doubts throughout the internship.

Different tasks were allotted in the week. Specific time slots were given to submit the tasks.  Work assigned to us was based on research work on specific laws, writing research papers, different case analyses, whether an act or law is applicable on Airport Authority of India, Creating Powerpoint presentations, and also presenting our presentations to the mentors they also ask questions based on our presentations in case of any mistake they will explain it politely and make it done correct.

Good Things

It was a virtual internship so we didn’t have a chance to explore more new things but the way all the mentors coordinated and cooperated throughout the internship was motivating and wonderful. All members were really helpful and polite they used to explain everything in detail for example- If they give you a particular task they will also let you know the related cases of that topic so that you can easily do the research work.

Bad Things

There was nothing bad but if you think that you will get the opportunity to learn about Aviation law so let me tell you will get the task related to airport authority work but that will not cover under aviation law.

Anything Else

If you are willing to learn more about what is airport authority their roles and the applicability of law on the authority then this is the best internship to gain such knowledge.
