Bulandshahr (UP), Apr 2 (PTI) Two people including a paint factory owner were arrested in connection with an explosion in a house here in Nayagaon area in which five people were killed, police said on Sunday.
The accused have been identified as Rajkumar, the owner of Air Star Traders, and Prashant, Additional SP Surendra Nath Tiwari said.
The house where the explosion took place on March 31 was destroyed in the incident, police had said.
During interrogation, it was revealed that a paint factory was run by Rajkumar in the house and some inflammable chemicals were being used, the ASP said.
Police said that it is suspected that the explosion took place due to these inflammable chemicals.
Initially, it was suspected to be the explosion due to an LPG cylinder.
Tiwari said that samples collected from the spot are being tested and a detailed probe is on into the matter. PTI COR ABN NB NB
