The company, which was founded in April 2020, presently caters to 1.5 lakh active learners and over 1,200 teachers who have signed up as educators on the website for offering courses across verticals.
Bangalore-based start-up BitClass had raised $2.3 million in seed funding some months back, is now planning to expand the offerings in the company’s portfolio, as they double its user base monthly. The first round of funding is currently sufficient to fuel the company’s existing expansion plans.
The company, which was founded in April 2020, presently caters to 1.5 lakh active learners and over 1,200 teachers who have signed up as educators on the website for offering courses across verticals. BitClass follows the business model of sharing a certain percentage of revenue generated with the teachers, out of the earnings generated with students’ enrolments.
The company’s initial investors include well-known venture capitals Venture Highway, WaterBridge Ventures, Better Capital, Figure Eight Investments, and Better Capital.
