The matter was mentioned for urgent listing on Tuesday before Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, who agreed to list the case on Friday, February 24.
“Letter with drastic consequences. GPF Account was stopped,” the counsel for the petitioners submitted.
“What GPF account stopped of judges? Who is the petitioner?” the CJI asked.
“Seven judges of the Patna High Court,” the lawyer replied.
“List on Friday,” the CJI said.
