It was alleged that the accused had cracked inappropriate jokes on a group, due to which religious sentiments and communal harmony was disturbed.
He subsequently moved the High Court apprehending arrest after being booked for offences under the Indian Penal Code and IT Act.
While granting anticipatory bail, Justice Anjani Kumar Sharan directed that, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of present order, the man must be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of ₹25,000 with two sureties.
