SLAT is a prestigious entrance test for admission into Symbiosis Law School, which falls under Symbiosis International University. There are a total of 4 campuses of these universities, in which admission can be taken- Pune, Hyderabad, Noida and Nagpur.

Eligibility criteria for SLAT 2023

Candidates must have passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).

SLAT 2023 Exam Dates

SLAT 2023 will be conducted across two days. Test 1 will be conducted on May 06, 2023. Test 2 will be on May 16, 2023. A candidate can appear for the test on both the dates (May 06 and May 14, 2023). If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation. 

Both the exams will be held between 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Applications for SLAT 2023 will close on April 12, 2023.

SLAT 2023 Exam Pattern

SLAT 2023 will be a 60 mark paper, with 60 minutes as the total amount of time provided. There will be 5 sections with 12 questions each.

Shortlisting Process for SLAT 2023

The entrance test scores will be used to shortlist candidates for the PI/WAT round. The candidates are advised to check the websites of specific institutes for more updates on PI/WAT round.

Note: It is mandatory to attend all components of PI-WAT to be eligible for admission to any UG programs. Only candidates who attend all tests of selection process (PI-WAT/ST-PI) shall be considered as eligible for generation of merit / wait / reject list. 

The entrance scores will be scaled down to 50 marks and the PI/WAT will carry 30 and 20 marks respectively.
