About the SAI

Sports Authority of India (SAI) was set up in 1984 to carry forward the legacy of the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982 under the Department of Sports. SAI has been entrusted with the twin objectives of promoting sports and achieving sporting excellence at the national and international levels.

SAI has played a significant role in shaping India’s sports development by providing training to elite athletes and at the same time operating a number of schemes for the identification and development of young talent. The schemes are being implemented through various regional centers and training centers of SAI spread throughout the country. 

About the Opportunity

SAI NRC Sonepat, Haryana invites applications from eligible, qualified, and motivated Indian Citizens for
providing consultancy as Young Professional (General Management) on a contract basis initially for a period of 02 Years and extendable on a yearly basis up to a maximum period of 5 years.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To provide administrative support and oversee the functioning of various SAI/Khelo India initiatives & schemes for strengthening the Country’s Sporting ecosystem.
• To liaise with various stakeholders of the Indian Sporting Ecosystem including the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, State Governments, Private Academies, National Sports Federations, and Other Agencies for the smooth functioning of the scheme.
• Maintenance of records & management of fund flow and providing high-quality inputs towards Noting, Drafting, Analysis & Monitoring the different SAI schemes.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must be LLB Graduates with one year of relevant experience in the desired field.
• Experience in any Government/ Semi Govt./Autonomous / PSU in a relevant field.

Salary

Rs.50,000/- to Rs.70,000/-
