AI is a technology that is altering and revolutionizing the world. It is not a futuristic vision but is of present and is being incorporated with and conveyed into an assortment of areas. The recent report by PwC estimates that AI technology could increase global GDP by $15.7 trillion, a full 14%, by 2030. AI has penetrated each and every part of our life. Even judicial experts are of the opinion that AI tools can reduce human bias in law enforcement. It is due to AI that the traditional process of warfare is transforming rapidly that a new term has come into the scene “hyper war”. These fast developments in the field of AI and its applications in almost all aspects of life raise questions and concerns related to policy, regulation, legal liability, and ethics.
AI is the most influential innovation in human history and has a substantial impact on human affairs. Yet, the deeper connections of law and technology are underappreciated. The manner in which the AI framework unfurl has significant ramifications for society. It is important to address the policy issues, reconcile ethical concerns and resolve legal implications and induce transparency.
Questions like: Does current law apply to AI? How should this new technology be regulated? are posed by the adoption of AI. In such a scenario finding the right balance of technology and law is an important component of AI going forward.

Objectives of Invent-O-Pedia
- To bridge the gap between two different fields (AI and LAW) through a tricky triathlon.
- To generate interest in young generation about AI.
- To make young minds acquainted with the concept of AI.
- To implant various skills such as leadership, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, adaptability, etc.
- To provide a platform for ingenious minds to showcase their knowledge, presentation skills and problem analysis.
Intended Learning Outcome of the Invent-O-Pedia
- Improve and add to the existing knowledge of Artificial intelligence and existing related laws.
- To appraise the participants about the linkage between artificial intelligence and legal ramifications.
- To make the participants deliver under stress and pressure by qualifying 3 rigorous rounds.
- To instil conceptual understanding of Artificial intelligence and legal aspects of AI in the present scenario.
- To generate fresh perspectives on the subject matter from the deliberations amongst competitors.
- How to present ideas to the judges with the help of a partner from different background.
