This is such an easy recipe to make, all you need is some milk. You don’t need any cream in this. Try to use ripe sweet mangoes in this, because that what make this.
The word kulfi is derived from the Persian word qulfi, which means covered cup.The dessert is thought to have originated in the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. In the Indian subcontinent, the combination of dense evaporated milk was already popular in sweet dishes. This mixture was flavoured with pistachios and saffron during
the Mughal period, packed into metal cones, and immersed in slurry ice, giving rise to the invention of kulfi.
Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..
Ingredients for Mango Kulfi Recipe :
Mango Essence :
Mango essences are commonly used in food to add a mango flavour and colour to a beverage or dish preparation.
Cornflour:
When paired with all-purpose flour, cornstarch helps prevent gluten development, which makes the flour coating crispier, and absorb moisture (from the frying and the chicken), which also means a crispier coating.
Saffron :
Saffron is a potent spice that is high in antioxidants. It has been linked to a variety of health benefits, including increased mood, libido, and sexual function, as well as reduced PMS symptoms and weight loss. Best of all, it is generally safe for most people and simple to incorporate into your diet.
