Being a part of the Stanford GSB Design Thinking course’s 9th Cohort has really changed things for me. As a marketing strategist, it is crucial for me to remain innovative and come up with fresh approaches to the issues and solutions that I encounter on a daily basis in my line of work. I had a creative streak and came from a management and design background, but I thought that my approach to my job and that of my clients needed to be more disciplined. That’s where I thought this Design Thinking course would help me, and it did!
For me to achieve my goals, the course provided the ideal platform. The sessions provided a lot to learn even if the classes were in online mode. The networking and brainstorming sessions between peers were really beneficial in providing me with new viewpoints on the design issue I was attempting to tackle. The mentorship and guidance I received from the course facilitators were tremendous. The detailed assessments on every assignment and their support in working around everyone’s schedules are creditworthy. The Program Manager from Great Learning had been extra supportive, helping me manage my time and get my assignments in on time.
I’ve now learned how to approach my work in a creative yet organized manner, thanks to this course! I can now provide my clients with better solutions that are more suited to their needs.
