When I was thinking for a quick recipe using lentils, I remembered this one which I saw long back ago in Tarla dalal cookbook. And I decided to do it. This is such a quick snack which you can make in no time. Actually in my style it is such an easy peasy recipe.
It calls for minimal ingredients, but the taste is maximum. It has a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. You can have it with ketchup or any of the chat chutneys..You can check recipes of that here, here and here.
How to Make Moong Dal Fritters Recipe
- Wash Moong dal in several changes of water . Soak it in water for 2 hours. Drain it and add in a blender.
- Grind it till it is half done. Now add green chillies, coriander seeds, pepper and salt and grind into a slight coarse paste. Transfer into a bowl.
- Heat oil for deep frying and drop a spoonful this mixture in oil and fry till golden.
- Drain it in a paper towel.
- Serve with ketchup of any of chat chutneys..
